I rented brand new Yamaha Twin Jets 100cc in 1968 for $40 a day
They were a bit faster

The white Honda scooter was stolen...sad
The Honda 550 was a money maker, bought for $400 1986, sold for $1600 after years of my abuse. It was really designed well. I dropped it on ice several times, no damage, a pickup truck backed over it, broke one turn signal. I caught the the drunk and made him pay on the spot. All stock, shifted at redline all the time, shifted like butter with no clutch!
Nobody wanted that van, it was smoking like crazy. Needed a $5 rubber diaphragm...
It also fit a 10' Arkay sink inside with doors closed.
Also sold for a good profit
all parked in front of my LAST EVER CONDO, but again a good profit
I don't miss driving/riding at all

Photo taken in a pretty cool 'junkyard' in Jerome, AZ (can't recall the make and model...I just liked the broken headlight and "Federal" which can connote many different things to some):
This is brother Tom with his brand new 1967 Bug, I learned to drive stick in it
Shot with my 126 Camera in 1967
I clearly remember his refusing to step into the light. Just out as 4 year Army enlistee

Had a blast for 4 years, then wanted different, as usual
