    HC-110 color

Please see attached image to view the discoloration of my HC-110 developer. Is that a clear sign that it has gone bad?

it's probably fine. I have used dark orange hc110 with fine results; I have never had a failure. I HAVE killed Rodinal before, btw.

HC-110 is still useful even when it has turned brown and has formed solids in the bottom of the bottle.

I had a bottle that lasted about 10 years, brown and crusty - used it to the last drop.

Same for me, it is good for years after color darkening. No significant change in my developing time either.
