Clarence H White exhibit and book

Just got the book - what a beautiful volume.

Looks like there are only a few more days of the exhibtion (ends 21-Jan-2019) at Cleveland Museum of Art. A post above mentions that it is a smaller setup there due to space but boy oh boy, I wish I was on that side of the pond...

Late to this thread, but I did see the show in Portland in August. The sort of work that he cultivated mostly isn't my cup of tea, but I enjoyed the show anyway. It was nicely presented and included a broad sampling of work by White, colleagues/contemporaries and students. Even just as a chance to better understand that chapter in the development of photography as an art and a craft, it was well worth my time.
