I'm considering one of Lund's portable darkrooms for traveling wet plate work: https://www.lundphotographics.com/cg...ction&key=DB03. Has anyone bought and used one of these, and if so, what is your opinion of it? Thanks.

Apparently nobody in this group has bought one. I’m still contemplating my options....
Looks like something you can DIY for much less, perhaps thats why.
I had one for a while when I was making wet plates. It was a phenomenal tool but not sure if I’d buy one full price. I was an early tester so I received a considerable offer for my opinions. I could make 8x10 plates inside but it took some planning and efficiently using space to make sure everything went smoothly.
A much nicer option than trying to make my own wooden one. Although, I think I’d say that because I’m not very handy.

That's a very good idea .
Way more than I'd pay for an old suitcase , some tent poles and some lightproof material though .
But it gives me a much better idea on how I can make a similar one for in the back of my old campervan ,rather than what I was planning on doing .
