    June Portrait Thread

One from my first portrait shoot with the AeroEktar on a Speed Graphic.
    Rodinal, 1-50 for 11 minutes. HP5
I guess I wish the dog was looking, but I hate shooting animals.

I hear that. I did animal portraits as part of my studio offerings. Dogs weren't that bad but cats seem to sense when the shutter is being pressed, resulting in shots of nothing but the tail. All in all, a very pleasing shot, Ootsk.

    You guessed right Steven.

It is between petzvals (Ross cabinet or a Hermagis portrait) and a Plasticca in normal configuration. Both types have a sharp center and narrow DOF, so I cannot be sure.

IMO It is easier to identify soft focus lens signatures, that is if I am the one snapping the photos...

Great shot that would have been perfect if the dog played ball.
