Thank you. Very difficult place to photograph due to the density of the saguaros, almost one on top of another...really takes some work to find decent compositions. LUckily here I was able to frame the distant saguaro between the two in the foreground. Saguaro National Park-East, I'm told, has less density and much more forgiving from a photographic standpoint.

Well, let's just say that each branch of Saguaro NP has its own photographic opportunities and challenges. If you visit Tucson, be sure to visit both... and then take the drive up Mt. Lemmon. No shortage of cactus here!

Thanks for the tips...definitely next time. I also saw quite a few options along the Phoenix bypass (I-8) on my way to Joshua Tree. I planned on hitting Saquaro-East on the return leg but unfortunately a vehicle issue cropped up so had to skip it and head straight back to Texas. But definitely want to get back out there.

So many people talk about the future, it's great to see an actual picture.

    Two fun hiking shots.

I’d like to be there this time of year.

There are few places as beautiful as Virginia’s piedmont in the spring. Jefferson knew this.

    Watch your step!

Thanks to our region’s deep snowpack and warming temperatures, the foothills of the Cascades can be a dangerous place to hike right now.

    This is near Seattle.
