This was a 4km hike steeply up in the rain and mud. Exposed a couple 5x7 sheets of FP4+ when it was a little clearer before taking this digital image. The 5x7 is taken with a longer (relative to the taking format) lens and is a horizontal. A hanging glacier in the rain. The falls are around 1800 feet tall. https://www.worldwaterfalldatabase.c...Cascada-de-769

Took this a few years back while hiking along Oak Creek in Sedona, AZ. If you've never been there, I strongly suggest it...photo opportunities around every bend. This is a shot of Sedona's version of the Zion Subway:

Nice, and thanks for mentioning the location. I drove through Sedona a couple years back and saw some signs for hiking areas but didn't know anything about it. Obviously, I missed out!

    Dove Lake, Cradle Mountain
Gelatin-silver photograph on Agfa Classic MCC111 VC FB, image area 16.4cm x 21.2cm, from a Tmax 100 negative exposed in a Mamiya RB67 camera fitted with a 50mm f4.5 lens and #25 red filter.

I was going for a stroll around Dove Lake when I thought the leaning tree might frame the distant mountain. The camera on tripod was set up in knee deep water. Then I waited and waited (and waited) for the little cloud while the cold water made my legs numb. Click! Could hardly walk out; abandoned the hike; went back to the car.

Took my wife's car to get an oil change Monday, and found a nice city park a few blocks down the road so spent the wait time doing a nice 2-mile walk in the crisp winter air, with my Leica M6 in my pocket to snap a couple of photos. Here's one with the 35mm Perar on TMX dev'd in DD-X:

Today she was home from work due to a forecast of snow and ice, but we got zero. In fact it was barely under 40 degrees. But we bundled up and went up to the mountains and scoped out a waterfall I haven't been to in decades - Dick's Creek Falls. My Pentax jammed up or something today (argh!) but I had my M6 still so shot the rest of Monday's roll:

Lots of potential here for a spring shoot with the North GA LF Photography group I think. Too cold right now for the shots I could see possible while in the creek....

There's so much to like in the last shot (especially the "rhyming" striations in the foreground log, water, and rock banks), plashing around in Significant Shrinkage Creek would be worth a re-shoot with a big camera.
