Photographing Liberty Cap and Mt. Broderick

What's the best 8x10 focal length for photographing from:
    !
    1. The Mist Trail and
    2. From the John Muir Trail?

OR in 35mm or 4x5 format. If you can could you also post your shot identifying the format and focal length of the lens used.

    Thanks,

    Thomas!

    Interesting!
I've been planning another saunter down the four mile trail with the 8x10 after scouting out some "targets" last autumn.
I determined that the 19" Artar is what I'll be packing.
I don't know if this helps or not.
