    L. Aubert Paris 125mm Magic Lantern Lens is a Petzval type?

I wish to buy a Magic Lantern lens but I don't know if it is a Petzval type. The seller do not know if it is. Anyone familiar with this lens?

I don't quite understand as this lens was sold on ebay back in January!

The other photos show it is clearly a Petzval due to proportions and the rear cell being more substantial than the front cell.

This will be my first Petzval lens, and I want to be sure it is.

Even though it looks to be in good condition and "was" a Petzval, you can only be sure when you unscrew the two lens cells to check that all lenses are present and not damaged.

The front achromat can have balsam problems (can be rectified) and projection Petzvals (especialy) can have edge chips - mostly on the thin edged double convex lens (Cannot be rectified, but may still produce an OK image!).
