    Canon Printers & Digital Negatives

Has anyone had any success in using Canon Printers for the making of Digital Negatives?

Re: Canon Printers & Digital Negatives

I see no problem with making negatives with a Canon Printer- basically its matt ink on pictorico.
You could visually prepare your negatives for the process you want to use.

I do however suspect the curve generation process - like QTR will be your area of difficulty.

If someone wrote a program for doing this with a Canon printer then I think it would work with consistent results.

btw I have a IPF9400 Canon for all my paper printing, but I do have an Epson 7800 for digital negs.
