    Does anyone recognize this lens?

I came across this lens; http://www.ebay.com/itm/201474948632...%3AMEBIDX%3AIT while trolling ebay. I can't find any info at Camera Eccentric. I don't think I've ever seena an apo Wollensak, any ideas about this one?

    I've got a 10-inch f10 apo-Raptar in a shutter. It's fine.
Thanks, but I'd rather just watch:

Dollars to Donuts it's a lens from a small process camera. Looks like a Damn nice lens. Wollensak was a great company, helped win WWII

Works out to be about 2 70mm would make a helluva nice 8 x10 macro or enlarging lens

I shoot the aluminium bodied version of this lens on my 4X5 Super D RB Graflex, and it is an excellent lens...

Very sharp, bright (for it's speed), contrasty, and saturated color... Image just pops into focus with it... A keeper!!!!

    No shutter on this one.

Just wondering if it will cover 5x7 with movements at infinity. The closest thing I've found in Camera Eccentric is the 10.75 red dot Artar. The brochure says it covers 5.5 x 7.5 at 1:10.

The Apochromatic Raptar is a different design than the Artar. It's a double gauss lens, where the Artar is a dialyte. I have an Apochromatic Raptar in the same focal length, but mine is f10 instead of 9.5. It covers 8X10 at f45.

Mine's in a #3 Universal, but it's not a direct fit; there are aluminum adapter rings on both sides.
