35mm sprocket hole photography with LF camera

I'm shocked I couldn't find an existing thread about 35mm format photos taken with a LF camera in this forum
So let me rectify this apparent omission and present my contribution to this important field of photography:

Photo taken on 35mm Kodak Ektar 100 loaded into a 6x9 Graflex roll film back (via 135->120 adapter) and then attached to a Super Graphic 4x5 camera. Schneider 90mm Angulon lens.

A photo of the setup I used can be seen in my blog post: http://markus.jork.com/blog/2015/10/...le-photography

You also could try to find the Linhof Super Rollex for 35mm cartridges it was made into the 90s

Interesting, didn't expect something like this was ever made. Seems impossible to find. The only Google search results I get for it are you claiming its existance...

There is one now on the 'bay. Item # 131611909719. Way expensive,
and it does not make a panoramic, does not exploit the area available.
Pretty much silly, really. Who would want to shoot the middle coverage
of an LF lens when 35mm lenses can be superior for the same spot?

I do this all the time, I just haven't posted a dedicated thread. They are in the other threads, but here's two I did recently:

This was with my Crown Graphic 2x3 with a 6x7 back and adapters, and 38mm XL lens. I used a 75mm 6x17 viewfinder to get the framing. Handheld obviously and shot with hyperfocal focusing.

Had it been a good seller it probably would still be made. However, it was not a good seller and was probably made because a customer wanted one and Linhof decided to make a few to see what would result.

Re: 35mm sprocket hole photography with LF camera

When someone gave me a Busch Pressman D w/135mm lens and some 4x5 film holders I taped a few pieces of b/w 35mm film in them being impatient to try the camera and got some nice photos. I was pleased to see the image go all the way around the sprocket holes. Don't know why I did not anticipate that. Then I remembered paper negatives and by the time I'd dabbled with that a while some 4x5 film showed up then X-ray and ortholitho and I've not been back to the idea. I found that electrical tape tends to take the paint off the septa in the film holders.
