    Pedro Guerrero film and talk

Come join me at my talk with Daniel Kosharek. On Sunday September 27 at 2:00pm, The New Mexico History Museum in Santa Fe will be screening (free) the PBS film "American Master's: Pedro E. Guerrero A photographer's Journey". Guerrero was an accomplished architectural photographer and best known as the photographic collaborator of Frank Lloyd Wright. Following the showing, I have been asked to talk about Guerrero's work and his times and what it has meant for architectural photography today.

    Thanks,
    Kirk

Kirk- I realize that it's the shortest possible notice, but can you have this recorded for the rest of us, please?

I appreciate your interest but unless the museum has planned to do it without my knowledge, sorry but no-simply no time.
    Thanks,

    Should be a fun afternoon!

I recently saw the film and it is a fascinating account of the life and accomplishments of this talented photographer. His work, in my opinion, ranks right up there with that of his better known contemporaries.

Wish I were closer --- wouldn't mind seeing the film again and listening in --- as suggested, a recording would be nice!

Hope you get a good turnout.

I saw this on PBS last week. A really good biography/documentary of this man, very inspiring.

in case you missed it, you can watch the full featured film here: http://www.pbs.org/wnet/americanmast...ull-film/5609/ Don't forget to click on the extra features tab on the left side of the home page.

Good documentary on a photographer that I never knew existed ybtil I saw the PBS documentary last week.

Thanks for sharing Kirk. I had not even heard of this photographer and am now excited to see the movie.
Just need to figure out how to watch it in India as there are "rights restrictions".
