Standing on a corner in Winslow Arizona........AIR Show

I'm part of a group show in Winslow Arizona at the historic La Posada. It is a show of work from the Artist-in-Residence program at the Petrified Forest National park and opens September 24, 2015 at 10:00am. The opening on Thursday leads into the "Standing on a Corner" Festival which starts the next day, the 25th. It would make for a great little trip if you are so inclined. I will be there.

The show will be up through November and perhaps December. These three images of mine will be on display.

All these years, I've thought that it was a flat-HEAD Ford....

    Great images!!!!!

The thumbnails first looked like seascapes to me... But I still saw the fluid dynamics in it later as it was landscapes!!!

As a kid after visiting Carlsbad Caverns, we had stopped nearby to observe the desert plain... There was a slightly foggy/hazy layer over it, and we (as shorehuggers) marveled over the scene that looked like the ocean... Then, I spotted a limestone rock that had a large scallop shell fossil on it, and we realized that we had been looking at the "sea"... I then made a comment that this was a petrified ocean!!! (Oh, from the mouth of babes...)

Great luck with the the show!!!!!!!!!!!
