Hello!
I just joined the forum today.
After 25 years of film photography I've decided it's time to jump in and learn large format.
It's always been so intimidating to me, but I think I'm ready to give it a go.
I haven't pulled the trigger on a camera yet -- still weighing options on format and camera style, but I'm close.
Advice is welcome.
Also, a question: is there a Classifieds area here where folks post items they are selling/seeking?
I am looking forward to my new adventure!

Welcome! One of my daughters lives in Austin, and we were down in May for her grad school graduation (that sounds redundant, doesn't it?) from UT. I'll be looking forward to seeing your images of the area. I'd say "go longhorns!" or something like that, but it isn't authentic when said by a New Jersey-ite...
Hey, I'm new here too. I am up the road in Tyler and I go to Austin pretty often. I have some friends who are considered family that have a house on 38 1/2 street.
