1967 B&J Lens Bank data file

I have come into possession of a large PDF scan of what must be the entire 1967 B&J Lens Bank catalog. 24mb.

Obviously too big to share here.

Is this file available online anywhere?

    Is it legal to share?

    Is it a valuable resource?

It's so big it's really hard to grasp on a computer, it really needs printout.

Somehow the folks at Camera Eccentric manage to post entire catalogs ... http://www.cameraeccentric.com/html/info/bj_1.html

Yes, they do a fine job, but I find their format hard to use.

You need to go back and forth to scroll pages, kinda clumsy.

This is section 11 of a big catalog, pages 131 to 176.

I remember reading one a while ago. The most surprising thing was the enormous expense of those lenses (multiply by 7 to get 2015 dollars).

If anyone thinks this would be a good thing to have hosted and available, I'd host it on my site. Mostly Graflex stuff but heck, they use lenses too!

Just put it on Google Drive or DropBox, but I'd also be happy to put it on my server.

The file has been given to 2 active members here, maybe even the people that asked for it.

What they now do is up to them.

I will not send more copies unless you represent one of the big camera collector sites.

    Thanks guys.

Randy and I discussed it and I'm going to link the file here now from my server:

    Burke & James Lens Bank - 1967

Here is an alternate link from my Google Drive account. You can view the PDF directly here or you can download it and save me some bandwidth from my website. Click the down arrow on the top of the screen to download:
