X-ray film dimensions

I'm always plotting and scheming some ridiculous idea. At present I'm contemplating the feasibility of making my own "Ready Load" type film sleeves for say 8x10 xray film...

Just wondering if the dimensions of xray films are exactly as stated (8x10", 11x12", etc.) or something slightly undersized , like regular sheet film.

8x10 X-Ray is sized the same as regular film. I cannot say for 10X12.

Just like Quickload/Readyload it would require a dedicated film holder, but would be FAR easier to carry than regular 8x10 holders.

If I can make it work...

I saw somebody was trying something similar for ULF, but the name of the guy and project eludes me. There is a prototype.

He basically had giant Bag Mags.

You might try asking a question about that in the main forum as many don't read DIY.
