In the Boston area I use and highly recommend Color Services: http://www.colorservicesllc.com
I've also sent mail order work to Praus in Rochester. Excellent quality. http://www.4photolab.com

Datachrome in LA comes with good recommendations. As well as walk-in, they also do mail order service which is how I have used them. The results are excellent. They also do scanning but I have never used that service.
