If you have one, would you mind posting or PMing me the little numbers on the aperture scale? They should be something like 0011.0xx. I'd like to know the last two digits.

Mine, in Copal 3, says 0011.068.

Some kind of code to match a scale to shutter? F/6.8 design perhaps? Might there be a pictorial archive of these scales somewhere online? "Enquiring minds want to know."

It's just a catalog number. The 240mm Apo-Sironar-S in Copal 3 is f/5.6.

With all the different lenses that people here own, it ought to be possible to reconstruct the entire list if someone wants to go to the trouble of soliciting and tallying the information.
