Good portrait lens for studio

While we're at it...how about a good lens for the 4x5 camera to carry out some environmental portraiture....such as a person standing next to his work space...where you want some of the workspace in the image? How wide can you go? 90mm?

i often do environmental / workspace portraits with a 90mm
if i have no room to step back. if i can step back,
i'll use a 127mm ( i use a tominon ).
