OK, two more with the Imagon at the Arizona Cactus Garden at Stanford.

The first is without the disk, wide open at f/5.6-ish, which I think works out pretty well, but may be a bit too soft. I did boost the contrast after scanning, and may boost it more, I'm not sure:

The next one is with the H5.8/7.7 disk wide open at H5.8. The subject is backlit by the sun, which causes the spider webs to make those funky horizontal lines that, honest, aren't a defect in development. Also, you can see the "strainer" effect in the "bokeh balls," which I haven't seen yet in anything shot with the Imagon:

And now for a "gentle focus" lens, the Fuji Fujinar 210/4.5 single coated Tessar clone, at f/8:

    Well done!

I hope you got a phone shot of the rare flower

It's been a while since I've posted any images, so here's one of a saguaro cactus from a trip out West, earlier this year. I used a Nikon F6 with a 16mm F/2.8 AF-D full-frame fisheye lens, and Provia 100F film.

    Re: Pricktorialism

I've not been shooting much this year, but I did get 12 exposed sheets between April and early June, so I developed them all at once in nearly expired Adox Rodinal, so they're all thin, but I was able to get decent scans out of them. These 3 are from the last day, June 6th, when I wanted to just use my long lenses, including my new-to-me Fuji 400T.

First, the shot with the 400T, f11, 1/15". Ilford Delta 100 film:

The next one, with a Fuji 300C, turned out pretty well, but I got some bellows squish that caused a bit of vignetting at the bottom from all the front rise, plus I think I put my dark cloth on top and pushed the bellows down a bit. Oops! f13, 1/8". Ilford Delta 100 film.

And finally, what I think is the best photo I've taken all year, with my Fujinar (Tessar copy) 250/4.7, which has become my favorite lens. f5.6, 1/30". Ilford Delta 100 film:

Great shots! I especially like the last one. Hopefully, I am able to get back out West, this fall.

Hopped over the southern Arizona border fence into Mexico (early 1990's) to photograph this one:

(The US Saguaros were "too perfect," like fashion models...and lacked character)
