    Not LF (i mean i'm going to shoot Fomapan 200 with a Rolleiflex) but still Fomapanish so i'd ask here. Does Fomapan 200 need yellow filter for portrait? The model'd skin tone is brown chocolate.

    In my - little - experience what it needs to get a good combination of Fomapan and HC-110 is:

    2. develop @ relatively high temp of 24 or 25C / 75 or 78F
    3. do not agitate much; better take a longer developing time of 10 or 11 min

    This all might help preventing blown out highlights and reducing grain.
    2. You mention 24 or 25C - have you seen an improvement at these temperatures over say 20C

    3. How much agitation do you suggest

    2. First, with the higher temp I get improved detail in the whites (black on negative)
    and second, it is more practical when using a strong dilution (I use dilution H);

    3. Every 1,5 minute I agitate 2 or 3 times first 10 sec. Be sure to have a good mixture otherwise you'll have to agitate more the first minute.

    Thanks. I was not aware that temperature could affect detail in the whites, interesting. I may try increasing the temperature a little.

    Pease remember when pouring the liquid into the can, it might cool off a bit, since the can is not warm....when mixing I take one degree extra, so about 25C.

    Re: Fomapan 100, 200 and 400

    I'm a learner and I did this indoors for a different thread on this site "Around the House". It's Fomapan 200 developed in Rodinal 1:50 for 8.5 mins. Shen Hao with Schneider Symmar-S 210mm. Exposure time I forget but it's maybe on the other thread. As I mentioned there, I'm plagued by dusty negatives! Still working on that - and all the other variables. I can't enlarge or print as yet so digital photo taken of negative with Canon 50D and Canon 60mm macro lens using a home made flash "light box" - essentially a perspex food container with a gap cut in one end to allow the flash head to go inside. White perspex lid and negative held flat using magnetic sheeting frame! Heath Robinson doesn't get a look in. Then it's inverted in Photoshop, worst dust cloned out and cropped from 4x5 because I didn't notice the wall mirror frame had crept in at the top of the picture. I didn't play with levels or anything so it's pretty much what I would have got if it had been printed?
    I had taken a test shot with Fuji FP100C polaroid so I thought it should go in the image too.

    Props to everyone for the fantastic images on this thread.
    I'm thinking that Foma 100 will likely be my first film in large format. I'm slowly gathering all the gear i'll need. Ordered one of the Mk 2 Intrepid 4x5 and thinking i'll have it late this year to early 2017.

    At this point i'll be developing in Ilfotec LC29. Has anyone had experience with this combination?

    Cheers
