Central Camera wants our Ilford Special Cut business as told to me by Don, yesterday

I don't work for Central Camera, but I want it to survive.

I stopped by yesterday and talked to Don, the owner. I bought some film and paper. He asked where I was buying 2x3 Ilford, I told him Freestyle as I knew of no other place.

Then we talked of the upcoming Special Cut, Ilford does yearly.

    He asked for my business.

As fellow Chicagoans we both want to keep money in Chicago.

That's all I know, I will talk to him again when Ilford announces this year's offering.

    Consider shopping Central Camera.

    Chicago Large Format Club does!

Though I do not get any special film sizes. I do buy what I can from CC. Thanks for doing this Randy.
    Thanks,

Do you know if he will buy film to stock for sale off the shelf? Or merely work as a middleman for the special ordered stuff?

Central Camera stocks Ilford 4x5, roll film and Kodak. I don't think anybody is going to stock Special Cut sizes, except Badger Camera seems to have in the past.

Only place I know that stocks 2x3 sheet Ilford and Arista sheet is Freestyle. I will find out more when the Special Cut is announced.

Keith Canham is the only source for special Cut Kodak film in a variety of choices once a minimum size orderer is achieved.
