Thanks. F9 @ 1-second and that includes 2/3-stop added for closeup. So no reciprocity correction.

That's gorgeous tuco. Feels like I could reach out and touch it.

Nice! I love the two mics poking in from the back, out of focus - looks like AKG C1000 mics?

I have a pair of AKG C3000B mics I modified (took out the internal baffling and clipped half the mesh out - makes it a lot more open and has that signature AKG "brightness"). Paid $200 for the pair but they punch way over their price after mods (they were thin and muffled prior).

Here's a pic from many years ago now of my U87ai. Unfortunately sold it a few years ago as I just wasn't using it, but I still have a pair of U89's.

    Taken with a 150mm G-Claron on TMX, semi-stand dev in T-Max dev.

Thanks. Yes, they're C1000S mics (good eye). The mics are bang-for-your-buck kinda mics. Nothing fancy like the nice picture of yours

A friend of mine, who has been much more successful in business as a recording engineer than I, recently had me assist on an orchestra recording job. He has an $8,000 pair of mics for the main pickup - but funnily enough has bargain, sub-$100 mics around the ensemble for general pickup of instruments, many of them literally falling apart due to hard road abuse. A lot of good usage for all kinds of mics!

Tuco and Corran might get a kick out of this mike. Second photo appropriately attired, with ear/mike protection from wind using the tops of two Cinela Leos (without the fur) and a bit of gaffer tape. I hasten to add that the mike was rented. I know of only one that is privately owned.

Nice binaural setup r.e.! I've seen one just like that suspended midair in a concert hall for recording. I use a Jecklin disc for binaural recordings but one time did a number of bootleg recordings with small condensers taped to my glasses frames at concerts, haha!
