    Thanks for the link - I've saved for later re-read.

    On a first pass: the history strikes me as interesting and illuminating, the psychologizing as gratuitous and silly.

    I cringe a little when critics try to dig around inside someone's head, but Mr. P. at least doesn't pile it on too terribly thick.

    It's taken some time for me to appreciate Robert Adams, strangely I love his nasturtiums the most but I am looking forward to seeing this book.
