Analog photo only call for submission now open

Callfor submissions for Papersafe's 4th issue was just announced:

From the actual call for work details page:
"For its fourth issue, Papersafe is currently seeking film-based photographic work and/or writing (from any genre) which explores the relationship of photography and memory. We are interested in images and writing that investigate how photography helps or hinders the process of remembering, and conversely, the process of forgetting.
"


I should have written "film based" in the title, though even that is negotiable, as plate or paper or any process is acceptable.

How do you confirm that submissions are in fact "analog", "traditional" or whatever you wanna call it?

It is trust based. If someone goes out of their way to send in work that is digital, and or made to look like it was shot on film, and or just flat out lies about the source, i guess that is good enough as a debatable piece of work in it of its own.

Besides the fact i think that never happened, and is rare if it ever did, why would someone even bother doing that?
