Mounting this Graflex Sport Viewfiner Mask 9101

I purchased this Graflex Sport Viewfinder Mask 9101 which does not fit into the tubular viewfinder. It is a piece of plastic approximately 3.5"x4". What do I need to properly mount this mask?

Not to sound facetious, but you need a 'Sports Viewfinder' to fit a 'mask' into one.

It's the metal frame that pulls up from the front standard.

I have that already. I do not know how to mount the piece of plastic on the wires and springs.

There are many variations of sports viewfinders.

Look up an old manual. http://www.butkus.org/

I think that it will snap in place, but can I trust it to stay?

I was just told that it snaps into place. No duct tape is required. No extra parts are needed.
