I have both. Lee does make a few glass filters by the way.
Glass are more durable over the long haul but aren't compatible with hard surfaces like concrete or rocks. Many of my filters are Hitech and Lee resin.
Many of them aren't neutral (even the $$$ b+w)like they say they are.
Some say only use glass with long lenses because of image degradation.
I like glass for rangefinders, but for LF, I prefer 'gels' (or polyester). Cheap, big, lightweight, durable. Too thin to distort, even with wide angles.

I've enjoyed super results from my (framed) Lee polyesters, but I'm careful to keep them in beautiful shape.
I also have Lee's 4"x6" resin GNDs, and I'm careful with those too.
After years of use, I've come to believe in the lifetime durability of both.
