    How much working distance do you really need?
    Reversing a wide 35mm [for 35 mm film] lens will cover 4x5 easily and will get you in super closeup without much bellows.

    I found the book fascinating. I am sure it will help anyone shooting macro and the author describes many ways to DIY or achieve good results cheaply.

    I think Dan woke up on the wrong side of the bed...
