Thread: IMAGO Positive Paper

    Re: IMAGO Positive Paper

    Hi,

I just finished a series of tests to characterize this positive paper. The document - very long and very boring - can be found here:

I think that a worthwhile piece of info is that to control the contrast one can replace the preflash with a (more convenient) Lee or Tiffen low contrast filter.

    Cheers

    Re: IMAGO Positive Paper

    Hello guys,

I just discovered and joined this forum.

I've been shooting Imago Positive Paper over the past 2 years (mainly for studio portraits) and the results are incredible.
I tried as well with Harman paper, but it's very different and I don't like the looks of my portraits with Harman...

Anyway, I've been struggling for the last months to order some more paper. Do you have any idea of when i'll be back on the market, or an idea of where I can find some in the meantime ?

    Thank you !

Freestyle has 5X7 and 8X10 - they are out of 4X5.

people have been using regular photo paper to do reversal process for a few years now using hydrogen peroxide. it takes a lot of light, the paper is rated pretty slow (instead of iso 24 I use about iso 6 or so )
it's not single step like the Ilford and IMAGO papers, but it's fun just the same ! I've also made developing out emulsion (chlorobromide/ Kevin Klein's recipe on the LighFarm ) and I added dilute D72 by mistake instead of Sodium Thiosulfate, the emulsion was about iso50 or 100, I made in camera paper negatives, and sun prints with it, I never made reversals. the sun prints and had to expose the paper through the back to slow it down, regular emulsion usually took a few mins for it to turn purplish colors, exposing the back it took about 10 seconds. have fun!
