    Lens board change

I have purchased a second hand lens (90mm) , but with the incorrect lens board and need to change the lens to the correct board of a recessed type. Is this straight forward to do, or are there traps for the unwary to fall into - should I send the lens and correct board to a repair shop to fit?

    Thanks

Very easy to do. Search on youtube for a video by Fred Newman:

You may need an angled shutter release or adapter.

    Re: Lens board change

Thanks and another question - I notice looking around on e bay that the recessed boards come with differing depths - some at 12mm and others at 20mm. Also that hole in the board is off set - is that the case with them all?

I have a Tecknica IV - so can anyone tell me what depth recessed board I need, and does the hole need to be off set - if indeed there is an option?

    Thanks
    Peter
