I like F76 Plus a lot with Tri-X. Nicer shadow densities, easy to use, cheap if you buy a gallon and decant into 20 oz. plastic soft drink bottles and leave no air. Keeps a long time.

I only use Tri-X, so I cannot comment on HP5, except to say that others I've spoken with like it.

F76 Plus has replaced HC-110 as my regular developer. And that, I always thought, would be tough to do.

Try it, you'll like it, too.

Bruce, if you wouldn't mind taking the time to post... what are the time/temps agitation method for txp320 and tri-x 400 120 and 4x5? I just bought a bottle of f76 and am going to start some testing.

    Thanks
    Bob
