Thanks for that, Ken. It's helpful to figure out (+ vis references) when is a good time to be there....on the way to NS. If I don't freeze my behind, I might attempt to stop there on the way back too. Haven't had a chance to explore Acadia since around '78.

Great place, my wife and I might be headed back this Fall after our leaves drop. I spent a month there in 2010 shooting Kodachrome, particularly underwater time exposures in the park's fabulous tide pools...
