    Armando,

Don't waste any more time with the test. I tested and found that with my present Mac OSX computer and the stand alone version of Silverfast I have a file limit of 2 GB, more than most all of my scanning needs.

Sandy, I decided to go ahead anyways to stress the scanner. Using DLP 7.8, 11.3"x12.7" @5000 dpi, saved as 16 bit tiff color, 21 GB in size. It took 5 hours.

    Wow!! That is epic.

Sorry for all your trouble, but that is a fascinating piece of work.

Found some KLUBER ISOFLEX TOPAS NCA 52 grease while doing some bearing work. Not longer using that kind. Whoever wants it please PM me. Be aware the grease looks good but it has expired.

Any owner interested in making backup copies of the the PLDs in the mainboard of the HR8000, please get in touch. Some of them can fail and/or burn.

The procrastination price in this case most likely be in the thousands.
