    Dicromat Fan repair

    Merry Christmas to All
    I fanily was able to replace the drive cables on my De vere 5108 and now have discovered that the fans on the color head dont work > the head is a Dicromat color head anyone had this problem and if so what is the fix

    I don't know that device, but I have installed a 110 VAC computer pancake fan in an older Beseler Head

    Works a charm, cost is very low, it fit right in

    Hook a voltmeter to the fan leads and see if there is power to them...

    Fan should be marked for AC or DC voltage required and CFM...

    If leads are live, generic replacement fans are available for the voltage required, or 120 VAC that plugs in directly to the wall...

    yes they worked and i was able to find a replacement from the same manufacture ERTI

    no i just bought this enlarger from a guy in Mi who lied about the condition so i am trying to get it working so far i have replaced the lens and head cables (one was broken and the other was not put in right so i replaced them both .nither fan worked when i hooked the head up so i have replaced both and they are working as they should.
