    Colour Paper Negatives

I've been pursuing colour paper negatives for a while now. Finally I'm starting to have some success with Fuji Crystal Archive and a combination of 85B,85C, Magenta and Yellow filters.
My technique is to set filters depending on the light source then develop in standard RA-4 (I use Tetanol)
Here's some of mine - anybody else have some to share?

    Baseball Glove
    Filters 85B-85C-25Y- 20M
    Studio Flash

    Pears
    85B-85C-40M-30Y
    Colour balanced in photoshop

    hi Mkillmer,

    nice work... BRAVO !!!

I have been shooting lots of B&W paper negatives and is looking into paper color negatives too....
Question, do you need to do a contact print to get the positive color ? or can you do a one-time exposure to get the positive image onto paper ?

    Hi Billy,
    Thanks for the kind words.
I've been scanning and inverting. But... if you did want to contact print you could use a colour enlarger and set the head to something like C25 Y100 M100 (I guess!) and it should print really well.
There is a reverse process that uses Kodak paper and dektol as a first developer then fogging then RA-4 development as per usual. I tried this once and the results were so horrible I gave up immediately:

It looks like a 1970-'s nightmare.

    Since you asked...
These were taken with a studio strobe with 85B-85V-25Y-20M filters...

    Re: Colour Paper Negatives

I tried an alternate set of filters tonight with the flash - this time Yellow-Coffee-85C.
There was too much yellow in the straight invert, but it balanced out fine. This image was over exposed, I shot at aperture f/6.3 rather than f/16.
I metered for ISO 6 so I guess that I shot at about ISO 1.5 or maybe a bit lower.

This image was better metered (ISO 3), but it didn't balance as well...

Where do you put these filters?
is it on the camera while taking
or when printing the paper neg later?
    Thanks
