Though I've perused this Forum for years, I am only recently a member (and for the life of me I can't find the classifieds! Just as well, because I'm not selling!)
I'm giving away a Devere 810H Dichromat 8 x 10 mural enlarger. I live in the San Francisco area. I acquired this from a former business in Berkeley, called Custom Process. I've got most of the pieces, and extra lamps, etc. There are many details to discuss, but the fact of the matter is I had to move and it no longer has a home. (It's large. I've got a person who can move it, but that cost is a truck with a lift gate, and at least two able bodies.)
Anyway, to avoid the scrap yard, I'd love to find a loving home. In turn, I'm interested in staying somewhat attached to it, collaborating on getting it up and running, and loaning lenses, etc to the process. (I've got a number of fabulous lenses for it.) But this is negotiable.
Note: This is a horizontal enlarger designed to expose very large images, like...around 16+ feet high by 20+ feet wide, or so. It is designed to move (motorized) on tracks to rough-in the size in relation to a wall. I purchased a Rodenstock lens to allow for an 8' x 5' enlargement in about 16' of space (8'-10' throw.)
Anyway, I'm interested in leads and suggestions... and advisories if I've broached LF Forum etiquette.
