    Hi Søren;

    Where do they stick then? & are you using bi-direction rotational cycles?

    This fact often overrides Jobo's liquid suggestions. I am most familiar with Kodak Xtol diluted 1:3. Kodak says, "125ml of Xtol per 8x10 equivalent." I follow their advice and have not had any problems.

    Jobo only notes the MIN amounts needed inside the tank to wet all films sufficiently. Most often this amount also corresponds to color chemistry min required amounts per square inch, but less often when processing BW.
    Always go with what the developer calls for, as you noted in this case Xtol calls for much more then the tank minimum.

    On the CPE2 I use 250ml for E6 and 300ml for black&white. If doing inversion by hand I use 1500ml.

    Its the two inner negs that stick together. One pair got through development and seemingly the fix since negs came out ok. The other pair didn't get that far as blue antihalation dye still sat there when I peeled them apart, Not my idea of peel apart film. Im using a Jobo CPE 2 with lift. Well the solution is easy enough just dont develop more then 4 sheets/reel. Having another drum and a third reel coming my way solves some more issues since I now can use my large drum

    Exactly my point. The developer used often dictaes the volume of liquid required. I moved from D-76 1:1 to Xtol 1:3 to reduce the volume of developer needed in Jobo drums.

    I use that tank for 4x5. I always use a little more than recommended, usually between 300 to 340 ml, and adjust the total quantity so that I can use even developer/water measurements instead of something like 7.48514 ml of HC-110.
