First trip off the island for months! Here's Entiat Falls, home of swarms of now-sated mosquitos. Rollei i.r. film, HC-100 "B" developer, scanned from Ilford print. This is with the 80mm lens, but a little wider view would have been nice.

That's a good one, John.

Thanks, Peter.
Here's the other one too. Just upstream from the Entiat Falls the North Fork of the Entiat comes roaring out of a steep canyon. Scrambling up the canyon would have gotten to some really exciting stuff, but this view was easily available. Again, 80 mm lens and Rollei i.r. film, but with more dappled sunlight I tried for an N-1 development.

That's quite a tree!

Yes, it is.
The park is a primeval forest, untouched by human forestry since the last ice age. Lots of dead trees in different stages of decay.
Quite lovely place, if you like forests. Or dead trees
