That's quite an extreme dynamic range that you had to deal with, Tuco. Great job! TMY is really a terrific film.

Thanks! This tabular grain film can be compressed a lot but perhaps at the expense of looking much different than the cubic grain films.

I use to have a Mamiya 7II. I liked its 43mm. I've been scanning some images from that lens for keep sake.

It looks good. The dogs looks like it's saying something.

I once took a picture of my dad's dog. I gave him a nice fiber base print for a xmas gift. He glanced at it and gave me the obligatory thank you. Years later, after the dog died, I was home for xmas. I found the picture in a box. I took it out and handed it to him. He looked at it all night.

I'm actually going to do the same thing as soon as I get the enlarger lens for my durst enlarger. My dad's birthday is this month. I took a picture at Christmas of his dog with HP5 pushed to 1600.

Very nice image. Always wanted to get my hands on a Mamiya 7 (either variant)...would be a nice change from lugging around the RZ67 or M645.

    Thanks.

My M7II was a fun camera with great optics. And it's easy to carry around. But, for me, it wasn't rugged enough.
