Do think that's feasible? I imagine tilting your head down or reaching to rewind would throw your balance all off in a free fall or something?
Not sure how feasible that would be. I used a Sony Hi8 video camera mounted on the top of my helmet and a Nikon N2000 mounted on the front of the helmet. Rigged up a micro switch inside of a nipple from a baby bottle to trigger the shutter. Used a Newton ring sight https://www.square1.com/manufacturer...ewtonRingSight to frame the images.

As far as medium format goes a friend of mine use to jump with a Hasselblad ELX mounted on a helmet and I new another skydiver that used a Fuji 6x9 rangefinder and would just reach up and wind it by hand after each shot. Think he just put the shutter release cable in his mouth. This is all old stuff, stopped jumping in 95 after an object strike on a BASE jump. Decided large format photography would be a lot safer.

Okay, thanks for the info. I have done a static line jump in the past. Perhaps I should do one of those tandem jumps to get a feel for the conditions before investing into the idea.

Nice shot. I haven't gone to an air show in years - I enjoy them a lot though.

Today I hiked 6 miles in a remote wilderness area, scouting the trail. Here's a photo from the end of my outing - a small waterfall on Fall Creek, in the Wildcat Tract WMA.

Half a Holga. I normally post full frame Holga shots. I like the vignetting. But since this image is about half shadow and half light, I decided to do a little cropping.

Playing around with the Noblex 150U I just bought in downtown Dahlonega again:

The above is wider than normal because what I was actually doing was experimenting with a 3-shot stitch to make 360° panoramic images. The above is cropped slightly because unfortunately there is a big light pole right next to me, but the whole image worked really well other than that and I was able to do this:
