Hello everyone! This is my first post in this blog and first, I would like to say congratulations to everyone on your great photos. Some of the stuff here is just amazing. I am learning a lot just by scrolling through this thread. I just started with medium format and photography as a whole a few months back and looking forward to practicing and learning as much as I can. This is a photo I took of the rockabilly dancers in Yoyogi Park in Tokyo during a short holiday trip to Japan. Taken with an old Shanghai 4b (twin lens). ]Please share any thoughts or comments you have! thanks[ATTACH=CONFIG]187163[/ATTACH

Vgcamera: I like the image, you could improve the print simply by burning in the flare in the upper left corner.

Thanks for the suggestion Peter! I didn't realize the flare while taking the photo. I kind of like it the outcome although it's true it would be a more coherent photo without it. thanks again

I like this image quite a bit, not so much for its technical merits, of which it has plenty, but for the compelling 'story' you've told by bringing together the various 'signs': winter, night, a lone streetlamp, a solitary vehicle, an empty road, a bygone age? Splendid job.

Thanks Terry, I appreciate that. I was so happy that the truck was parked there, because as you said, it then became a story. Just what that story is is up to us! Thank you again.

Did you ask the young gentleman who does his hair? Nice shot.
