Sometimes when I'm wading I feel like I'm in the way, but it's usually people with cell phones making a snap. I do move out of the way if there's a lot of folks and then shoot when no ones around. I'm guessing a popular place like your image though, there is lots of photographers all the time?
    Thanks.
Yes, lots of people. When I setup my tripod in front of the rock waiting for the Sun to go behind one of those stacks, no one was at this end of the beach. But soon there was group of people around me. I didn't think anyone would like the high contrast of looking into the Sun. Go figure.

I'm mesmerized by this image Bill. Well seen sir.
    Thanks, Jeff.

Corran: the Cannon Beach image is lovely--wonderful balancing of the tones. Lovely part of the world. I need to get back there some day soon.

    Bryan, I must say, wow!

This image makes me want to more carefully utilize my Optar 90!

Thanks Randy! Do you feel the Optar is not sharp or was there another issue with using it?

I assumed it was not as sharp or wide as you show.

I bought it for my Travelwide and shoot it by scale. Usually with flashbulbs in dark bars!

The Optar (and Angulon) is awful in the corners, but of course the 6x12 back solves that problem .
