Takes a special will to surf in the Bay of Fundy, even in August when the water is a few degrees above freezing. Decent waves that day, too.
This was on Grand Manan Island.

    Austin

You really have an endless 'supply' of locations, all different, never ever a bad or even disappointing image from you on this site, simply and consistently great work

    Andrew,

Thank you, that is very kind of you to say. To be honest, I frequently feel as if I'm at the end of my run, that my well has run dry, so to speak, but I'm stubborn, and have a kind of faith that I'm getting somewhere, so I stagger on.

I find the area of Eastern Washington where these recent pictures were taken (the "Palouse") is photographically stimulating. It feels vital to me, personal somehow. I'm hoping to take the best of these pictures (I've visited the last five years) and turn them into a book.

    Thank you again.

    Best, Austin

For anyone interested, here are some other pictures from the Palouse: https://www.flickr.com/photos/austin...57679294840348

I wasn't aware of this resource until Austin just mentioned it. It has some of the best photography that I've ever seen.

    Admire your work Austin!
Very enjoyable Palouse portfolio; get the book made so I can purchase it.
