Really interesting Austin - especially the second, with the light behind the water stream.

Found these interesting statues at Bonaventure Cemetery in Savannah, GA recently. Hasselblad 503cx / 80mm Planar:

Austin - great series. there should be a thread for images in series especially in these smaller formats.

Bryan great work even balancing the blurred trees in the background - the square format giving me that Hassy GAS. May have to burn a roll through my old Yashica TLR first to see if it suits my eye.
The magic you are looking for is in the work you are avoiding.

Thanks Eric. I'm really liking my HB, especially now that I bought a 40mm. Speaking of...

Thank you. No rain, just threatening clouds and a ferocious wind.
Spirit Lake was completely transformed during the eruption of Mount St. Helens in 1980. The lighter areas along the shoreline in the distance are floating mats of giant bleached logs, remnants of the forest that covered this area before the blast. The volcano itself, mostly obscured by clouds on this day, was behind my left shoulder.

    Miner's Car, Mount St. Helens

Three days before the 1980 eruption of Mount St. Helens, Donald and Natalie Parker and their nephew Rick parked this Pontiac Grand Prix about nine miles from the volcano and hiked to their cabin to inspect their mining claim. All were killed in the blast.
