Three Halloween images, all HP5+, Pyrocat, Rollei 6006. These are negative scans from Photoshop Elements. Sadly I had one of those "Murphy's Law" catastrophes where for the first time in over a decade a roll of wet film right out of the final bath vibrated off the laundry line as I hung up two more rolls. Needless to say, the one with the images I liked most fell on the concrete floor and was scratched, so these will have to be printed digitally rather than in the darkroom.

The following two are a bit problematic, because the tones of the inflated demons are very similar to the background house, I couldn't find a way to increase the contrast between them.

Ha, the two gestures are great. Perhaps try lowering just the blacks to some degree to darken the shadows in an image editor. They look a little light compared to the first image.

I took this a few years ago also with HP5+.

    Thanks, Pat, Tuco.
I always visit this bus when I'm in the Palouse, and wonder about its history.

Interesting photo Austin, it reminds me of Jon Krakauer's "Into the Wild" book.

Here is one from a few days ago. I wanted to finish-up a roll, so took this one on a ski traverse (120-format Ilford Ortho Plus in a 2 by 3 Crown Graphic, 90-mm lens, no filter. D76, Ilford MG Deluxe glossy). I put two images together for this one, and did a little cropping, especially the sky.

It was sunny blue-sky day. The bare slope is unusual for winter here, but this south-facing slope is exposed to the wind and sun, and made a great lunch spot.

Austin: I've wondered about that bus for years too.

Well, it's still winter here, so another from Cox Hollow Lake: TriX, yellow filter, frozen fingers, scanned from film.
