Yesterday I got out to make some adjustment tests of the Speed Graphic Rangefinder. Got two lens tested, Heliar 180/4.5 and Wollensak Velostigmat 83/3.5.
Heliar:

All went ok, just on focus - good for hand-held shots, as these Press Cameras were designed for.
Cheers,

Antonio, early Pacemakers had a side rangefinder that would only work with the lens for which it was adjusted. Later models with a top rangefinder used interchangeable cams that worked with any lens for which the photographer had the correct cam.
Hi,
I took 2 lenses for testing, having noted in home the adjusting parameters. The rangefinder internal calibration was ok for both lens adjustments.
Answering to your question, yes, it should. It's a time consuming procedure, I prefer stay with one lens for weeks, and if necessary change the lens and adjust the rangefinder again, to use the camera for some time again. One time adjusted, it just stay fixed - if you have a correctly maintained one - for long time without the need to re-adjust it.
I'll try to get a model with interchangeable cams - as Jim noted above - if I find the need for more frequent lens swapping,
I find a very capable model the Mini Speed Graphic, it's small, solid construction - not rock solid as a Linhof would be - and the focal plane shutter is a considerable plus,
Cheers,
Renato
