Yesterday I got out to make some adjustment tests of the Speed Graphic Rangefinder. Got two lens tested, Heliar 180/4.5 and Wollensak Velostigmat 83/3.5.

    Heliar:

All went ok, just on focus - good for hand-held shots, as these Press Cameras were designed for.

    Cheers,

    Renato

    Hi!
Agree !! I usually shot my Pacemaker + Optar 135 handheld!! Well, when I use the Grafmatic.
One question. I thought that the rangefinder should be calibrated for each lens ... shouldn't it?

    Thank you!
    Cheers
    Antonio

Antonio, early Pacemakers had a side rangefinder that would only work with the lens for which it was adjusted. Later models with a top rangefinder used interchangeable cams that worked with any lens for which the photographer had the correct cam.
