    I like them both however #2 edges over #1 due to what looks like a light leak on the left that is distracting to me.
    What happens when your batteries die? Pinhole Photography :)

    It is the visual tension in the second image that interests me. The road and its shadows lead the eyes one way. The cone of light from the left edge expanding across the image leads the eyes another way, while the upper branches and leaves swoop down the oppposite way. And all this movement wonderously runs counter to the actual direction the light is entering the image. Love it! Then in the middle of all this madness (movement) stands those black solid un-moving trunks.
