First somewhat successful film astrophotography image. Taken with my Pentax 67ii and 500mm f/5.6 lens, tracked for about 20 minutes IIRC on HP5+. Unfortunately Orion is setting earlier now so probably won't be able to try again till next year, and I'll go for a longer exposure and try to get more detail in the nebulae - I am happy that I can just start to see the Flame Nebula coming in next to the belt stars. The highlight detail is impressive in the Orion Nebulae compared to digital images - I'm interested to see how a very long exposure with pyro developing would handle this scene.

Next up is some wide-field 4x5 that needs to dry.

tuco, this is an arresting image and so much fun, immediately engaging and full of all sorts of little surprises that take time to discover. Although I aspire to be primarily a portraitist, this is an image that I can imagine using as a splendid example for teaching numerous aspects of photography, from visualization to printing. The composition and printing are truly a delight.
